# Tax System

## Server Tax

All zeny that moves between players is taxed at a flat **10%**. Before you trade, vend or sell to a buying store, check below to see who pays the tax and how much you will actually receive.

### Tax Overview

| Transaction  | Tax Rate | Who Pays |
| ------------ | -------- | -------- |
| Trading      | 10%      | Receiver |
| Vending      | 10%      | Vendor   |
| Buying Store | 10%      | Receiver |

The tax is deducted **automatically** from the zeny received. The player sending or spending the zeny always pays the full amount.

### Trading

When zeny is exchanged in a trade window, the player **receiving** the zeny gets 10% less.

### Vending

When a player buys from your vending shop, the buyer pays the full listed price and **you (the vendor)** receive 10% less.

Want to earn a specific amount? Divide your target by 0.9 to get your listing price. For example, to receive 9,000,000z, list the item at 10,000,000z.

### Buying Store

When you sell items to another player's buying store, the store owner pays the full price and **you (the receiver)** get 10% less.
