# Item Adjustments

## Item Adjustment

To keep the economy balanced and the server healthy for the long run, item drop rates and NPC selling prices have been adjusted.

{% hint style="info" %}
These changes control how much zeny and how many items enter the game. That keeps prices stable and keeps your hard-earned items valuable over time.
{% endhint %}

### Drop Rates

**Item drop rates for all items have been adjusted significantly.**

What this means for you:

* Rare items stay rare, so they hold their value.
* The market doesn't get flooded, so prices stay steady.
* Farming and hunting stay rewarding for longer.

### NPC Selling Price

When you sell items to an NPC, you now get **1/6 of the item's Buying Price**.

|                   | Formula          |
| ----------------- | ---------------- |
| **Selling Price** | Buying Price ÷ 6 |

#### Examples

| Item Buying Price | Selling Price to NPC |
| ----------------- | -------------------- |
| 600z              | 100z                 |
| 1,200z            | 200z                 |
| 6,000z            | 1,000z               |
| 60,000z           | 10,000z              |
| 120,000z          | 20,000z              |

{% hint style="info" %}
**Overcharge** still works on top of the new selling price, so Merchant-class players still get their bonus.
{% endhint %}

### Why These Changes?

These adjustments keep the **balance** and the **longevity** of the server economy by:

* Slowing down zeny inflation
* Keeping player trading and vending worthwhile
* Making sure items and zeny keep their value for as long as the server runs

{% hint style="info" %}
**Tip:** Player vending and buying stores usually pay more than NPCs. Before you sell valuable items to an NPC, check the market first.
