# Deposit System

## Deposit System

The Deposit System lets you **deposit items into your Collection** to unlock **collection bonuses**. Deposited items stay in your Collection, and their bonuses stay active as long as they're there.

### How to Deposit

1. Talk to the NPC and choose **Open Storage** (10,000z).
2. The Deposit Storage window opens.
3. Drag the items you want to deposit into the window.
4. Their collection bonuses become active.

The Deposit Storage is **deposit-only**. You can't take items out through the storage window. To get an item back, use **Refund Collection**.

### How to Refund

Refunding returns a deposited item to your inventory. **Its collection bonus is removed.**

1. Talk to the NPC and choose **Refund Collection**.
2. Pick the item you want back, or choose **Refund All**.
3. Confirm and pay the fee.

| --------------- | -------------------------- |
| Refund one item | 100,000z                   |
| Refund All      | 100,000z × number of items |

**First time refunding this session?** The NPC opens your Collection in view-only mode first, for free. Close the window, then talk to the NPC again to refund.

Before you refund, make sure:

* Your storage window is **closed**.
* You have enough **weight capacity** and **free inventory slots** for the items.

If you can't carry everything, the NPC tells you how much weight or how many slots you need to free up. **No items are moved and no zeny is taken** if the refund fails.
